331 local orgs apply to observe upcoming national election

Ahead of the 13th national parliamentary election, 331 local organisations have submitted applications to the Election Commission (EC) seeking to observe the electoral process.
Confirming the matter today (12 August), EC Assistant Public Relations Director Md Ashadul Haque said 318 organisations applied before the 10 August deadline.
After the deadline, 13 more organisations applied, he added.

Earlier, on 17 July, the EC issued the "Election Observation Guidelines 2025" and simultaneously canceled the registration of 96 observer organisations that were registered during the previous election.
