14 to accompany Khaleda Zia on London flight, including daughter-in-law Sharmila

A total of 14 people will accompany BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, including daughter-in-law Syeda Sharmila Rahman, on her flight to London, which is scheduled either after midnight tonight (4 December) or early tomorrow morning.

Speaking to reporters at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka today, her personal physician Dr Zahid Hossain said that the decision to transfer Khaleda Zia was taken following the recommendations of specialist physicians, reports Prothom Alo.
A senior BNP source confirmed the names of the 14 individuals who will travel with the former prime minister. They include her daughter-in-law Syeda Sharmila Rahman; physicians Abu Zafar Md Zahid Hossain, Fakhruddin Mohammad Siddiqui, Md Shahabuddin Talukder, Nooruddin Ahmad, Md Zafor Iqbal and Mohammad Al Mamun; SSF officials Hasan Shahriar Iqbal and Syed Samin Mahfuz; acting chairman's assistant Md Abdul Hai Mollick; assistant private secretary Md Masuder Rahman; and housemaids Fatema Begum and Rupa Sikdar.
Khaleda Zia has been undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital for the past 12 days. A medical board led by Professor Shahabuddin Talukder and comprising specialists from home and abroad has been overseeing her care.
The BNP chief previously travelled to London in January for advanced treatment, initially receiving care at a hospital there before staying at the residence of her son, Tarique Rahman. She returned to Dhaka on 6 May after almost four months.
