1 killed in road accident in Naogaon

A man was killed after being hit by a picnic bus in Dhamoirhat upazila of Naogaon, police said today (26 February).
The accident occurred today around 7:00am at Biharinagar Mor in the upazila.
The deceased, Kamal Hossain, 45, was the son of Yad Ali from Uttar Chakjadu village in Dhamoirhat upazila. He ran a photocopy shop in the area.
Shahadat Hossain, station officer of Dhamoirhat Fire Service, said, "A speeding Hanif bus hit a motorcycle and fled the scene. Upon receiving the news, we rushed to the spot and recovered the body of Kamal Hossain."
Raisul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Dhamoirhat Police Station, said, "The body of Kamal Hossain has been brought to the police station. Legal action is being taken regarding the incident."
