1 killed, 15 injured as tourist bus carrying Bangladeshis overturns in Odisha

At least one person was killed and 15 injured after a tourist bus carrying at least 70 Bangladeshi nationals overturned near SIFA in the Uttara Chhak area at Bhubaneswar, Odisha in India this morning (6 April).
Rescue operations are currently ongoing, reports Odisha TV citing local police.
While the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, the injured were rushed to the Capital Hospital for treatment.
According to the report, the bus was on its way to Puri after visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Most of the passengers are reported to be Bangladeshi nationals who had arrived via ISKCON Mayapur in West Bengal.
On being informed about the incident, police and Fire Service teams promptly reached the spot and engaged in rescue operations.
Preliminary reports suggest that the bus overturned after the driver lost control. The condition of some injured passengers is stated to be critical.
Further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the mishap.
