'Tonight will be our biggest bombing campaign' in Iran, warns US Treasury secretary
We'll do the most damage to the Iranian missile launchers, the factories that build the missiles, said Scott Bessent.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has warned that "tonight will be our biggest bombing campaign" in Iran.
"We'll do the most damage to the Iranian missile launchers, the factories that build the missiles," Bessent said in an interview with Fox Business on Friday (6 March), reports DW.
He also claimed Iran is significantly weakened by US attacks.
"We are substantially degrading them," he said.
Both Trump and Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth have suggested that the US military has not yet launched its biggest attacks on Iran.
