Portuguese far-right leader’s billboard stating 'This is not Bangladesh' sparks outrage

A billboard featuring André Ventura, the leader of Portugal's far-right party Chega, has ignited debate and criticism across social media.
Positioned close to a bus stop in Montijo, the billboard showcases Ventura's image alongside the phrase "Isto Não é O Bangladesh," or "This is not Bangladesh," according to media reports.
The politician uploaded the image on Instagram from his verified profile on Sunday (26 October) with a caption in his native language, which translates to, "They are already on the street. 18 January is to rock this country. No fear!"
