Magnitude 7.2 earthquake hits Banda Sea in Indonesia
There was no tsunami threat from the earthquake, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PWTC) said

At noon on 8 November a 7.2 earthquake struck Indonesia.
A 7.2 earthquake struck the Banda Sea region of Indonesia today (Wednesday, 8 November), according to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).
The quake was 370 km southeast of Ambon, Indonesia and estimated at a depth of 146 km, with no tsunami threat declared from the earthquake, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PWTC) said.
