Tremors felt in Bangladesh as magnitude 5.9 earthquake strikes Myanmar

An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 struck Myanmar around 9:34pm (BST) today (3 February), with tremors also felt in various parts of Bangladesh.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the earthquake struck 70 miles east of Sittwe in Myanmar.
The quake was at a depth of 10 kilometres (6.21 miles), the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
No casualty or damage have been reported so far.
