Who controls the world's uranium supply?
As the world's demand for nuclear power grows, so does the importance of uranium. But the market is now largely controlled by a few countries. Kazakhstan is the largest producer, accounting for more than a third of global supply. Canada is in second place, with Namibia growing rapidly. The United States, on the other hand, is trying to turn things around, but production is still very low. Global uranium supplies are still heavily dependent on a few countries.
