Venezuela asks OPEC for emergency aid

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has sought OPEC's help in dealing with illegal threats and pressure from US President Donald Trump, accusing the US of trying to seize Venezuela's oil resources and increasing military pressure. He has formally requested OPEC and OPEC+ assistance as US sanctions have reduced oil exports.
