US hints at cutting retaliatory tariffs on China, Beijing ready for talks

U.S. President Donald Trump has changed his stance on counter-tariffs against China. In a conversation with reporters at the White House, he stated that the counter-tariffs on China will be significantly reduced. However, they will not be eliminated entirely.
