Hundreds of Israelis killed in Iran's one-day attacks
Amidst tensions in the Middle East, a series of explosions rocked Israel, later confirmed to be major Iranian attacks. The attacks in the cities of Dimona and Arad injured more than 100 people, at least 11 of them seriously. Israel's air defenses were unable to intercept the attacks. Iran claims that the attacks were carried out in retaliation for the US attack on its uranium enrichment center in Natanz. The attack targeted areas around Israel's important nuclear facilities.
