Former Ukrainian minister arrested while fleeing the country

German Galushchenko, Ukraine's former energy minister, has been arrested while trying to leave the country on serious corruption charges, the country's national anti-corruption agency, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), confirmed in a statement on February 15. According to investigators, he is involved in a major corruption scandal in Ukraine's energy sector.
