Metro Rail tragedy: Family Files Legal Notice for Compensation

A legal notice has been sent to the Secretary/Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and the Managing Director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited to pay BDT 1 billion in compensation to the family of Abul Kalam Azad, who was killed in an accident after a metro rail bearing pad was separated in the Farmgate area of the capital. On October 28, this legal notice was sent via postal service by Enamul Haque Nabin, a lawyer of the Dhaka Judge Court.
