Clashes between local residents and students at Chittagong University
A clash and chase between students and locals took place at Gate No. 2 area of Chittagong University. Eyewitnesses said that the situation arose due to the beating of a university student at around 12:15 am on August 30. Several students were injured in the clash. Later, when army members reached the spot at around 3:30 am, the situation was brought under control.
