Nur suffered head injury, nose bone fractured: DMCH director
He has regained partial consciousness this morning (30 August), according to a post on his Facebook page

Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur sustained head and nose injuries during last night's clashes, Dhaka Medical College Hospital Director Brigadier General Md Asaduzzaman said today (30 August).
"The reason behind excessive bleeding was a head injury and a fractured nasal bone. The bleeding was stopped, and he regained consciousness," Asaduzzaman told reporters.
Nur underwent a CT scan this morning, the DMCH director said, adding that it is not possible to say whether Nur is out of danger before 48 hours.
A high-level medical board consisting of six members has been formed for his treatment, he said.
After being admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in a "critical" condition last night following a violent clash between activists of the Jatiyo Party and Gono Odhikar Parishad in front of the Jatiyo Party's central office in the capital's Kakrail, Nur regained partial consciousness this morning (30 August).
Special Assistant Professor Dr Sayedur Rahman, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, visited Nur, who at Dhaka Medical College Hospital today(30 August) and gave instructions to the concerned authorities for his proper treatment.
Speaking to reporters at DMCH at around 11:30pm Friday, the party's General Secretary Md Rashed Khan said, "Nur is now in a critical state. The way the army and police attacked Nur, his nose was fractured, his eyes are also in very bad condition, and his hand is severely injured."
Doctors are keeping him under close observation, he added.
Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam visited DMCH to see Nur, while Law Adviser Asif Nazrul was also on his way to visit him, according to Gono Odhikar Parishad.
In a statement, Shafiqul condemned the attack on Nur. "I am sure the attack will be investigated by the authorities," he said.
Earlier in the day, at around 6:30pm, several people were injured as activists of the Jatiyo Party and Gono Odhikar Parishad clashed in front of Jatiyo Party's central office in Kakrail, Dhaka.
A large deployment of police and army personnel later arrived to restore order.
Meanwhile, a video widely shared on social media shows the joint force using batons to disperse Gono Odhikhar Parishad leaders and activists, who were seen standing behind a dais on the street where they wanted to brief the media.
Abu Hanif, senior leader and media coordinator of Gono Odhikar Parishad, claimed that 50 of their activists, including Nurul Haque Nur and Md Rashed Khan, were injured.
Jatiyo Party leaders alleged that activists of Gono Odhikar Parishad launched an attack on them while marching past the party office.
On the other hand, Gono Odhikar Parishad leaders claimed that it was the Jatiyo Party supporters who first hurled bricks and stones at their procession, provoking the clash.
