All committees of the anti-discrimination student movement except the central committee are dissolved
All sub-committees and branches of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement across the country, except the central committee, have been suspended indefinitely. The decision was announced at an emergency press conference in Shahbagh in the capital on Sunday evening over the arrest of several leaders and activists on charges of extortion. Former coordinator and president of the central committee of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Rifat Rashid, made the announcement.
