Beximco Pharma welcomes senior government advisers for facility tour

Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Beximco Pharma) today hosted Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Abdul Hafiz and economist Dr Anisuzzaman Chowdhury for an official visit to its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
The visit included a guided tour of Beximco Pharma's production lines, research and development centre, and quality control laboratories. Guests were briefed on the company's innovation pipeline, export performance, and its role in public health both domestically and internationally.
Lt Gen (retd) Abdul Hafiz, special assistant on defence and national harmony, said, "Beximco Pharma exemplifies how the country's pharma sector transforms itself and drives technological advancement to compete globally."
Dr Anisuzzaman Chowdhury praised the firm's research focus and international standards, stating, "It is encouraging to see a Bangladeshi company investing in high-quality research and maintaining global standards. Beximco Pharma is not just producing medicine; it is creating value for the nation."
The delegation lauded Beximco Pharma's role in job creation, foreign exchange earnings, and healthcare innovation and stressed the need for ongoing public–private collaboration to further strengthen Bangladesh's pharmaceutical industry.
