15-Day DU Closure: Students Urge Permanent Measures
Dhaka University has announced a 15-day closure following structural concerns in residential halls after the recent earthquake. Students have been instructed to vacate their halls by 5:00 PM on November 23 as the administration begins inspection and repair work.
Many students, however, are demanding a clear roadmap of the renovation plans, arguing that temporary measures are insufficient. Classes and exams will remain suspended until 6 December, and students are expected to return on 7 December unless the decision changes.
