Even in the Age of Technology, the Palm Fan Still Holds Its Value
The residents of Jihas Fakirpara village in Chandnaish Municipality of Chattogram still preserve this traditional rural heritage. Around 600 families in the village are closely involved in the craft of making hand fans. Due to the large-scale production and high demand, the village has now become popularly known as the "Hand Fan Village."
