The U.S.-Iran conflict has sharply escalated after a U.S. strike on Larak Island triggered Iranian missile and drone attacks in Jordan and the UAE. Tensions are also rising in the Strait of Hormuz, where the IRGC reported a supertanker hitting sea mines and claimed to have shot down a U.S. MQ-9 Reaper. Oil prices surged as military and diplomatic pressure intensified.
