Why did Pakistan launch ARFC?
Islamabad has made major changes to its defense strategy after the India-Pakistan conflict. On the eve of the 78th Independence Day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the formation of a new Army Rocket Force Command (ARFC). He said the force will use modern technology to achieve all-round strike capabilities and greatly enhance Pakistan's conventional warfighting capabilities.
