Chaotic vehicle movement in the bus lanes of the Dhaka Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Uttara on Saturday. The 20.5km route between Dhaka airport and Gazipur is expected to enter full operation in December 2025. The dedicated bus lanes have reduced space for other lanes already causing traffic woes, and is feared to make congestion worse when only BRT buses will be allowed to use the lanes.
