Govt plans to move 15 lakh people to shelters within 8pm: State minister on Cyclone Hamoon

It will cross the coastal region between 10pm today and 10am tomorrow. So, instructions have been given to bring vulnerable people to shelters by eight o'clock at night, added the state minister

Cyclone Hamoon: Tourists defy directive on not going to beach in Cox's Bazar

Turbulence grows in the Bay of Bengal as Cyclone Hamoon approaches the coast of Bangladesh. In Chattogram’s Patenga beach, where the photo was taken from Tuesday morning, the danger signal has already been raised to 7 by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department. The cyclone is expected to cross the Barishal-Chattogram coast line  near Bhola between tomorrow morning to noon.
