At Nippon Paint Bangladesh, we believe paint is not just a finishing touch—it's the first step in transforming a house into a home and a space into a statement. Since our inception in 2014, our role has evolved from simply providing colour to becoming a partner in creating environments that reflect personal style, ensure long-lasting protection, and promote healthier living.

We've introduced innovative products that do more than beautify. Our paints now serve functional purposes—offering anti-viral and anti-bacterial protection, reducing indoor pollutants with low-VOC formulas, and even reflecting solar heat to enhance energy efficiency. Through these advancements, we've redefined the purpose of paint in the Bangladeshi market.

Today, we actively contribute to shaping the aesthetic and functional identity of modern living spaces, ensuring each wall we colour carries our promise of durability, safety, and design excellence. Our journey is one of continuous innovation and a deep commitment to improving the way people live.

As Bangladesh experiences rapid urbanization and the emergence of a more aspirational middle class, consumer expectations around home design and personal expression are evolving. At Nippon Paint Bangladesh, we have aligned our strategy to meet this growing demand for premium, customized, and lifestyle-driven paint solutions.

We are expanding our product portfolio with high-performance offerings that combine aesthetic sophistication with functional benefits—such as anti-viral protection, low-VOC formulations, and weather-resistant exterior finishes. At the same time, we are investing in digital tools like colour visualizers and design consultations to help consumers personalize their spaces with confidence and ease.

Our approach is centred around creating not just paint, but experiences—where colour, texture, and technology come together to reflect individual lifestyles.

Nippon Paint is already a global brand with strong operations across the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and other regions. As a subsidiary of this expansive network, Nippon Paint Bangladesh does not independently pursue exports. Instead, our focus is on building excellence in the local market.

Our solutions for waterproofing and premium decorative coatings are crafted to meet the unique challenges of Bangladesh.

As part of a multinational network, Nippon Paint already operates across more than 47 countries, and our group strategy covers cross-border business through regional hubs.

We concentrate on building a strong domestic footprint—investing in technical excellence, painter training, customer service, and product localization. Through this, we ensure that Bangladeshi customers receive the same quality and innovation expected from a truly global brand.

Today's consumer doesn't want to choose between beauty, safety, or sustainability—they want it all. At Nippon Paint Bangladesh, we've embraced this shift by offering paints that are not only aesthetically rich but also low in VOCs, lead-safe, and environmentally responsible. These values are no longer niche—they're becoming mainstream, especially in rapidly developing urban centers, where awareness around health, environmental impact, and modern living standards is growing fast.

Digital tools are reshaping the paint experience, we're embracing this change to serve our customers better. Our Nippon i-Colour App enables users and dealers to visualize how a shade will look on real walls—reducing guesswork and speeding up decision-making. Beyond colour, our technical teams use moisture meters and diagnostic tools to assess surface conditions, especially for waterproofing needs. By merging digital innovation with on-site expertise, we're making the painting journey smarter, more reliable, and more satisfying for our customers.

Bangladesh faces intense monsoons, rising temperatures, and salinity challenges—demanding highly durable and weather-adaptive coatings. Nippon Paint has responded with an integrated waterproofing and exterior protection portfolio:

  • WB Ultimate Shine + WB Basecoat is our flagship exterior paint system, the Strongest, Toughest, Hardest solution for exterior walls, offering up to 15 years of performance warranty when applied as a system. It provides long-lasting resistance to rain, humidity, and harsh sunlight.
  • WB Solareflect reduces surface heat buildup by up to 5°C, helping to control interior temperatures and reduce energy costs.
  • Flex 200 Fibre Pro, Elastex 3-in-1, CM Flexible 2K, and Cement Mix WP Plus protect terraces, basements, and wet zones from water ingress.
  • Damp Proof Putty and Damp Proof Sealer act as preventive barriers—sealing exterior walls and preventing moisture, salt damage, and efflorescence before topcoat application.
  • De-Salt is specially designed for salinity-prone coastal and damp areas.

Together, these innovations ensure homes are protected year-round, both structurally and aesthetically, in Bangladesh's diverse and extreme environmental conditions.

At Nippon Paint Bangladesh, we are strengthening the application ecosystem by equipping painters and applicators with the right skills, knowledge, and tools on both decorative and waterproofing system. We conduct regular training programs, offer on-site technical support to enhance application accuracy and efficiency.

Definitely—especially in metro areas where awareness of health and environment is increasing. Customers now ask about low-odour, toxin-free, and washable paints. Our products meet these expectations, and also reduce repainting frequency, saving money and reducing environmental impact in the long run.

At Nippon Paint, we believe color is more than decoration—it reflects culture, emotions, and aspirations. Our Trend Beyond Colors initiative proactively studies global and local shifts in lifestyle, architecture, and environment to forecast color trends that resonate with Bangladeshi consumers. To better serve diverse applications, we provide different specialized color cards tailored for various surfaces—whether interiors, exteriors, or waterproofing coatings—ensuring the perfect shade and finish for every project.

Further reinforcing our position as a color innovator, Nippon Paint hosts the Creative Color Awards, celebrating design excellence and inspiring industry-wide creativity. Our R&D and marketing teams collaborate closely to continuously refine palettes, helping consumers and professionals stay ahead of trends and create spaces that are both timeless and contemporary.
