Things are better for batsmen now : Nannu
Nannu, when asked about the reason behind the failure of top order batsmen, hailed the pace bowlers. "See, if the bowlers bowl well, then the batsmen are meant to fail and vice versa. From what I've seen in the last few days, I can tell you that the pacers are in good shape in terms of fitness. Their skills have improved as well. If they can sustain the momentum, I think it will help them get selected," he remarked.

Bangladesh national cricket team selector and former international Minhajul Abedin Nannu has stated that he is very impressed with the way the fast bowlers have been bowling in the BCB President's Cup.
"The top order batsmen have few more chances to make their mark. Conditions are now quite favourable. Earlier, it rained for a few days and there was moisture in the pitch. So the pacers enjoyed extra assistance and the batters struggled. But now things are better for batsmen and I hope they will do well next," added Nannu.
Nannu reckons that the tournament is a great platform to look at players and at which batting position they can do well. "We are keeping an eye on all the players. We are looking at them and thinking who can do well at which position. Later the management will discuss and consider players and the position they will play at."
Minhajul Abedin Nannu also opined that the tournament will encourage the board to arrange international matches if it is a success.
