Saifuddin set to return from injury and play in Bangabandhu T20 Cup

Mohammad Saifuddin, who got himself injured just before the commencement of Bangabandhu T20 Cup, will return midway through the tournament, as informed by the Minister Group Rajshahi management.

Saifuddin was the first choice pick for Rajshahi in the players' draft but the all-rounder picked up an ankle injury while warming up before even making an appearance in the tournament. It was then told that it would take a week for him to return. But as per the latest updates, he will take some more time to return.

Hannan Sarker, former international cricketer and the manager of Minister Group Rajshahi, told the media on Sunday, "Saifuddin is doing well now. He has been following the rehabilitation protocols of the board and instructions of the team physio and trainer. If the rate of his development sustains, he will be back midway through the tournament. He will be able to return once he gets the fitness certificate from the BCB."
