The Premier League has approved a special transfer period from 1 to 10 June, enabling clubs to sign and retain players before the tournament begins in the United States on 14 June.

Manchester City and Chelsea will benefit from an early transfer window this summer, allowing them to register players ahead of the expanded Club World Cup.
The Premier League has approved a special transfer period from 1 to 10 June, enabling clubs to sign and retain players before the tournament begins in the United States on 14 June.
This exceptional registration window, sanctioned by FIFA last october, is available to any national association with teams competing in the newly structured 32-team competition. The tournament offers a prize fund of $1 billion, with the winners set to claim up to $125 million.
Chelsea and City secured their places by winning the Champions League in 2021 and 2023 respectively. The early registration window could also allow Real Madrid to complete the signing of Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold ahead of the tournament, with the England right-back reportedly set to join the Spanish club on a free transfer when his contract expires on 30 june.
FIFA regulations cap closed-season transfer windows at 12 weeks, meaning the Premier League window will briefly close from 11 to 15 june before reopening from 16 june until 1 september.
