Mahedi and Tanzid lead Bangladesh to historic T20I series win over Sri Lanka

Bangladesh comfortably chased down the target of 133 set by Sri Lanka. Towhid Hridoy sealed the win with a single off the third ball of the 17th over, bowled by spinner Maheesh Theekshana. He remained unbeaten on 27 off 25 balls.
This marks Bangladesh's first-ever T20I series win against Sri Lanka. The victory was spearheaded by spinner Mahedi Hasan, who delivered a career-best performance with the ball—claiming 4 wickets for just 11 runs in his 4 overs.
Opener Tanzid Hasan played a pivotal role with the bat, remaining unbeaten on a career-best 73 off 47 deliveries, including six sixes.
