The former Liverpool boss took up the position of Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull in january, overseeing a network of clubs including RB Leipzig, the New York Red Bulls, and Brazilian side Bragantino.
Speculation around Klopp's future intensified after Real Madrid's Champions League quarter-final exit at the hands of Arsenal this week, fuelling reports in the German media that the Spanish giants could target the 57-year-old to replace Carlo Ancelotti at the end of the season.
Responding to the growing rumours, Klopp's agent Marc Kosicke told Sky Deutschland: "Jurgen is very happy with his new role with Red Bull."
RB Leipzig head coach Zsolt Low also addressed the speculation on 19 april, saying he "could not imagine" Klopp heading to the Bernabeu, adding: "He is very happy in the job."
Low spoke highly of Klopp's influence since taking up the role. "He's shown that he can bring a club together — a group of 40, 50, 60 people — and take them with him. He adds incredible value with his experience, his human quality and his energy."
Klopp, who spent 23 years in top-flight management with Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Mainz, is well known for leaving clubs on his own terms — a rarity in football management.
"No matter where he's been, he's given 100 percent," Low continued. "It's important to him to make a clean exit."
Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen manager and former Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso remains one of the front-runners for the job in the Spanish capital. Speaking on 19 april, Alonso insisted it was "not the time" to discuss his future.
