The 22-year-old has apologized for his actions and expressed a renewed commitment to his cricketing journey.

Ihsanullah initially announced his retirement from the PSL after being omitted from the Season 10 draft. Frustrated by what he perceived as a lack of recognition for his consistent performances, he shared his disappointment in a candid interview with Public News. He stated that the decision to step away from Pakistan's premier T20 competition was not impulsive but rather the result of thorough reflection on the situation. However, he also declared his intent to silence doubters by bowling at speeds of 150-160 km/h.

In a subsequent interview with ARY News, Ihsanullah clarified that his retirement announcement was driven by emotions and external pressures from friends and family.

"There was no real plan to retire," Ihsanullah explained. "I made the announcement in the heat of the moment. When I wasn't picked in the PSL draft, the influence of friends and family also added to my frustration."

The pacer has since vowed to focus on working hard in domestic cricket to secure his place in future PSL drafts. He also extended an apology to his former franchise, Multan Sultans, for his earlier remarks.
