BCB to appoint women selectors for National Women’s Team
The decision was made following a marathon six-hour 19th board meeting held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to appoint women selectors to the national women's team set-up for the first time in its history. At present, Sazzad Ahmed serves as the sole selector for the women's team.
The decision was made following a marathon six-hour 19th board meeting held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
"We have decided to include women selectors for the national women's team soon," said BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul after the meeting. He also confirmed that the board is looking to expand the selection panel by appointing an additional selector.
Currently, the women's team has just one selector, Sazzad Ahmed, while the men's national team selection panel comprises Gazi Ashraf Hossain and Abdur Razzak.
The move is being hailed as a step towards more inclusive and representative governance within Bangladesh cricket.
