Alisson returns early from Brazil duty after head injury
The 32-year-old collided with Colombia defender Davinson Sanchez during the match and was substituted in the 78th minute as a precaution under FIFA's concussion protocol

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has returned early from international duty with Brazil after suffering a head injury in their 2-1 win over Colombia in World Cup qualifying on 21 march.
The 32-year-old collided with Colombia defender Davinson Sanchez during the match and was substituted in the 78th minute as a precaution under FIFA's concussion protocol. As a result, he will miss Brazil's upcoming fixture against Argentina.
A statement from the Brazilian football federation (CBF) confirmed that while Alisson has shown no further medical issues, he must follow the necessary recovery process.
"Alisson, who suffered a head knock, is fine and has no medical complaints," the CBF said. "However, he needs to follow FIFA's concussion protocol and will return to his club to continue the recovery process."
Alisson's early return adds to Liverpool's mounting injury concerns, with defenders Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, and Conor Bradley already sidelined.
Manager Arne Slot also faces uncertainty over Ryan Gravenberch, who withdrew from the Netherlands squad on 20 march due to a fitness issue.
Liverpool, currently 12 points clear at the top of the Premier League, return to action on 2 april when they host Everton in the Merseyside derby.
