Wednesday renewed for season 3

Netflix has officially greenlit a third season of Wednesday, the hit supernatural comedy led by Jenna Ortega as the deadpan Addams Family daughter.
The announcement comes just ahead of Season 2, which premieres on 6 August. The show became a global sensation upon its debut, racking up over 250 million views and earning 12 Emmy nominations, including one for Ortega.
Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and executive produced by Tim Burton, Wednesday follows the titular character as she navigates life at a boarding school for outcasts.
The cast includes Gwendoline Christie, Emma Myers, and Riki Lindhome. Season 2 introduces new regulars like Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán, while also adding Billie Piper and Steve Buscemi.
Plans for a spin-off series are also underway, though details remain under wraps. "It's been a dark delight," the creators said, promising deeper mysteries and more Addams family lore in Season 3.
