Priyanka Chopra named Oscars presenter
Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been announced as one of the presenters at the upcoming 98th Academy Awards, organisers confirmed on Friday.
The ceremony will take place on 15 March at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on ABC while also streaming on Hulu. The show will be hosted by comedian Conan O'Brien.
Chopra, who recently headlined the action-thriller The Bluff, shared the announcement with fans on Instagram, simply captioning her post: "The 2026 Academy Awards." The update quickly drew reactions from fellow stars and fans, including comedian Zakir Khan, who congratulated her in the comments.
She joins a newly announced group of presenters that includes Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway, Paul Mescal, Will Arnett and Gwyneth Paltrow. Previously revealed presenters feature names such as Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin and Chris Evans.
Chopra previously presented at the 88th Academy Awards in 2016 alongside Liev Schreiber.
Among this year's nominees, Sinners leads the field with 16 nominations, while Hamnet and One Battle After Another have also received multiple nods.
Chopra is also set to appear in the second season of the spy series Citadel.
