Oasis announces 2025 reunion tour
Tickets for the tour are set to go on sale at 9am local time in the UK (4 a.m. ET) on 31 August.

British rock band Oasis has officially announced their highly anticipated comeback with a reunion tour set for 2025, reports CNN.
According to the band's website, the tour will kick off on 4 July at Cardiff Principality Stadium in Wales, with the band scheduled to perform 14 shows across the UK.
The reunion was confirmed in a post on X by Oasis frontmen Noel and Liam Gallagher, who simply stated: "This is it, this is happening."
Fans have eagerly awaited this moment, especially given the long-standing tension between the Gallagher brothers, which led to the band's breakup in 2009.
Tickets for the tour are set to go on sale at 9am local time in the UK (4 a.m. ET) on Saturday, 31 August.
The announcement comes just days before the 30th anniversary of Oasis' debut studio album, Definitely, Maybe, which was released in 1994. The album featured iconic tracks such as "Live Forever," "Rock 'n' Roll Star," and "Supersonic," and propelled the band to stardom.
The relationship between Noel and Liam Gallagher has been notoriously fraught, with the brothers often trading barbs in the media since the band's dissolution. However, both have expressed interest in a potential reunion in the past.
In a 2023 interview with KPNW 89.9 radio, Noel hinted at the possibility, stating that Liam would need to make the first move. Meanwhile, Liam revealed in a February interview with Mojo that Noel had previously declined an offer for a reunion tour, despite it being a lucrative opportunity.
