Lisa Lu from ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ honoured with Hollywood Walk of Fame star

Legendary actress Lisa Lu will be honoured with the 2,811th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on 5 May at 1708 Vine Street.
At 98, Lu's career spans over six decades across film, television, and stage. Known for roles in 'The Joy Luck Club', 'Crazy Rich Asians', and 'The Last Emperor', Lu is also a three-time Golden Horse winner and has been dubbed a "Living Legend" by the Chinese government.
Her star will be placed near those of James Stewart and Anna May Wong. The event will feature appearances by Awkwafina and Academy president Janet Yang. "Everything Lisa Lu has done has opened the doors for us," said Awkwafina.
Lu reflected, "I embrace this star as a testament to resilience and perseverance. I am deeply honoured to stand in support of the next generation of rising Asian actors, whose paths I hope will shine even brighter."
