Lawsuit against Jay-Z and Diddy dismissed

The lawsuit accusing Sean "Diddy" Combs and Jay-Z of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in 2000 has been dismissed, according to a court filing on Friday in New York.
Attorneys for the anonymous plaintiff, Jane Doe, voluntarily dropped the case "with prejudice," meaning it cannot be refiled. Jay-Z called the dismissal a "victory," stating the allegations were "fictitious" and caused distress to his family. His attorney, Alex Spiro, emphasised that Jay-Z never settled or paid.
Combs' legal team also denied the claims, stating other lawsuits against him will fail. Meanwhile, Combs remains in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center on racketeering and sex trafficking charges, awaiting his trial on 5 May 2025, where he could face life in prison.
