Khub Kacheri Keu marks first Chorki flash fiction

Streaming platform Chorki is set to release its first-ever flash fiction, Khubb Kacheri Keu, on 11 September. The project marks director Arafat Mohsin Nidhi's return to fiction after more than a decade, following his debut in 2012.
Written by Raba Khan, who also developed the dialogues and screenplay, this slice of life follows a young couple navigating an arranged marriage. Starring Sunehra Binte Kamal as Jerin and FS Naeem as Rakin, the narrative unfolds across events leading up to and during their wedding, exploring how real relationships can form in unexpected ways.
Sunehra described Jerin as "lively, outspoken, and independent," noting that the role mirrors her real-life personality. "The story is very close to my heart," she added.
Naeem said the dialogues and moments will resonate with audiences: "We've all faced similar experiences in different ways. I believe viewers will connect with what we tried to portray."
The cast also features Payel, Mahera Inaya Kamal, Fahad Riaz Khan, Alif Khan, and Ashikuzzaman Anik.
