Kelvin Harrison Jr joins The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping adaptation

Kelvin Harrison Jr has joined 'The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping'.
He will portray Beetee, victor of the 34th Hunger Games and father of Ampert Latier, a tribute in the 50th.
Harrison joins a cast led by Joseph Zada as Haymitch Abernathy and Whitney Peak as Lenore Dove Baird, with Mckenna Grace and Jesse Plemons also on board.
Directed by franchise veteran Francis Lawrence, the film is based on Suzanne Collins' latest novel and explores the Second Quarter Quell—24 years before the original series.
The story follows 16-year-old Haymitch as he navigates a deadly version of the Games with double the tributes. The Lionsgate film hits theatres on 20 November 2026. Harrison currently stars in Hulu's 'O'Dessa'.
