Brad Pitt to star in new adaptation of The Riders

Brad Pitt will lead the upcoming film adaptation of Tim Winton's 'The Riders', with 'Conclave' and 'All Quiet on the Western Front' director Edward Berger at the helm.
A24 will finance and distribute the film, which begins production in early 2026 across multiple European locations. David Kajganich is writing the screenplay, with producing duties shared by Ridley Scott's Scott Free, Berger's Nine Hours, Pitt's Plan B, and Kajganich.
The story follows a man whose wife vanishes after they relocate to Ireland, sparking a desperate search across Europe.
