AttritoM7 Productions announces new game 'Blackwood'

Bangladesh-based game studio AttritoM7 Productions has announced its latest project, Blackwood, a cinematic third-person action-thriller, five years after the success of their acclaimed game Zero Hour.
Set in 2012 New York, the game follows Anton Blackwood, an assassin who runs a small DVD store in Brooklyn by day and returns to a life of violence by night, said a press release.

Players can manage Anton's daily routine, decorate his store and apartment, and take on assassination contracts, high-octane chases, and brutal combat after dark.
Developed in Unity 6 HDRP, BLACKWOOD features a fully original in-house soundtrack performed by the studio's own band. The game draws inspiration from titles such as Max Payne 3, Mafia II, and John Wick, combining responsive third-person gunplay, grounded melee combat, and cinematic storytelling.

"Blackwood is our most ambitious project yet," the studio said in a statement. "It's made in Bangladesh, but it is made for the world – a story about identity, obsession, and performance, told through gameplay that feels as cinematic as it looks."
With this release, AttritoM7 Productions is expanding into story-rich, character-driven experiences, while maintaining its core philosophy: make good games.
