Abul Hayat’s ‘DayMukti’ premieres on 7 February

Actor Abul Hayat's new movie 'DayMukti' is set to release in theatres across the country on 7 February.
Producer Jasim Uddin confirmed the news to TBS. Directed by Badiul Alam Khokon, the film is based on the story of an old age home.
In the movie, Abul Hayat plays the role of a resident of an old age home, who ends up there with his wife after being forced out of their home by their children.
Speaking to TBS about his role, Abul Hayat said, "We completed the shooting almost two years ago. The director has worked on this project with great care. It's a socially conscious movie with a meaningful story. I hope the audience will enjoy it."
Other actors in the film include Symon Sadiq, Sushmi Rahman, Samia Nahi, Subrata Barua, and Shuchorita, among others.
The film's songs have been penned by Moniruzzaman Monir, with Ali Akram Shuvo composing the music. Notably, 'DayMukti' was produced with funding from the Government of Bangladesh.
