Burger King offers ‘Part-Time’ job to Prince Harry

The United States-based multinational chain Burger King has put forward a sales assistant position for the 35-year-old royal after he and his wife Duchess Meghan announced their decision to step back as senior royals and "work towards financial independence".

The tweet has received a flood of reactions from social media users since it was shared, reports NDTV.

One user called Burger King "savage" for the idea, while another declared that the fast-food chain had "won" the Internet.

Burger King Argentina was the first to reach out to the Duke of Sussex on Twitter.

"Dear Dukes, you can look for your first job without giving up the crown," Burger King said in one tweet. "If you're looking for a job, we have a new crown for you," it said in another post.

Queen Elizabeth has given her blessing to grandson Prince Harry and his wife Meghan's wish for a more independent future."My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan's desire to create a new life as a young family," the 93-year-old monarch said in a statement.

Prince Harry is reportedly planning to fly to Canada this weekend and join Meghan who returned fro Britain after the couple provoked a rift with Britain's royal family by unexpectedly announcing they would be stepping back from their roles to spend more time in North America.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent six weeks in Canada at the end of last year before returning to Britain.

The Burger King branch in Canada, meanwhile, is yet to take a cue from its US and Argentina peers and make a similar offer to Harry or Meghan.
