Russian ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander Mantytsky met with Nurjahan Begum, Health and Family Welfare Adviser of the Interim Government of Bangladesh.

This meeting was held at the Health Advisor's office at 11am today (15 October).

At the beginning of the meeting, Russian Ambassador Mantytsky congratulated Health Adviser Noorjahan Begum on taking charge as the Health adviser of the Interim Government and exchanged greetings.

In the meeting, Health Adviser Noorjahan Begum informed the Russian Ambassador about the treatment of Khokon Chandra Borman, who was seriously injured in the protests of the anti-discrimination student movement, and hoped for Russia's cooperation in the complex and time-consuming treatment.

Russian Ambassador Alexander Mantytsky has asked for documents related to the treatment of the injured person. He told the health adviser that he would inform the higher authorities in Russia about this.

Md Mamunur Rashid and Atul Sarkar, joint secretary of Health Services Department of the Ministry of Health were present in the meeting.
