Two cases have been filed with the International Crimes Tribunal against 30 people, including Sheikh Hasina, accusing them of the massacres in Laxmipur and Jatribari during protests led by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

Member of the National Citizens' Committee, led by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, were present at the time of filing the e platform file the case with the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal today (3 October).

According to the National Citizen Committee, Shaheed Shakib Hasan, a BA (Pass) course student of Dania College, was shot dead at the pocket gate next to the Qutubkhali Kajla Petrol Pump under Jatrabari police station during the 'Complete Shutdown' programme called by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and on 4 August, Shahid Osman Patwari alias Osman Gani, a student of Chittagong Polytechnic Institute was shot dead of in North Temuhani area of Lakshmipur city.

Two cases were filed by Shaheed Shakib Hasan's father Md Mortuza Alam and Shaheed Osman Gani's father Md Abdur Rahman under under Sections 3(2) (a), 3(2) (c), 3(2) (h), 4(1) and 4(2) of the International Criminal Tribunal Act, 1973.
