DMP imposes over Tk30 lakh in fines, files 734 cases in one day

Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Traffic Division handed out Tk30,97,500 lakhs in total fines and lodged 734 cases across the capital in just one day during drives to enforce traffic rules.
The drives were carried out yesterday (21 September), during which 64 cars were impounded and 35 others were towed.
Deputy Police Commissioner of the Media and Public Relations Wing of DMP Talebur Rahman said, "The Traffic Division will continue the drives to maintain law and order on the streets of the capital."
