The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to investigate allegations of corruption against former lawmaker of Rajbari-2 constituency and former railways minister Md Zillul Hakim.

The ACC's Public Relations Office confirmed the matter to The Business Standard today (29 August).

Additionally, ACC has decided to investigate former lawmaker of Sirajganj-4 constituency Tanvir Imam.

According to media reports, they are accused of money laundering, irregularities in projects, and amassing large amounts of illegal wealth both domestically and internationally.

It has also been reported that information from the ACC's Intelligence Unit against them has been taken into consideration.
