Supermarket chain Meena Bazar has started recruiting staff through Google's job-matching app Kormo.

Job seekers can attend online job interviews using Kormo's new features "Remote Jobs Listing" and "Remote Interviews."

Meena Bazar requires its staff to meet the growing demand of buyers during the pandemic and it is providing job interview facilities to the job seekers from their homes using the Kormo app. Only in April, Meena Bazar recruited more than 400 people via the app during the shutdown.

Ahmed Shoaib, general manager of Meena Bazar, said, "During this adverse time, our skilled team is working with Kormo and taking interviews from home to recruit manpower. This process is safe and secure for both our staff and job seekers.

Kormo is expected to be an effective platform during the Covid-19 pandemic for those looking for work while staying at home or for those wanting to participate in online interviews.
