Readymade garment (RMG) workers at a garment factory in Rupganj staged a demonstration over working an extra 150 hours without pay.

The agitated workers of Bay Creation Ltd blocked the Dhaka-Sylhet highway for about an hour in protest at the Karnagop area of Tarab municipality of the upazila on Sunday.

According to the workers, when the factory reopened after the Eid holidays, the owners pressured the workers to work an extra 150 hours without pay.
